Yes yes yes, I know there are some of you out there that definitely disagree with me and I completely understand and accept that. I think Lady Gaga is a music goddess though. Along with Owl City, although it'd be music god in Adam Young's case. I've been a fan of Gaga and Owl City since BEFORE they blew up from "Poker Face" and "Fireflies". But seriously- the music video is epic. Best 9 minutes and 31 seconds I've ever spent watching a music video, which I rarely do...What did you think of it?
"No Music, No Life"- I most definitely agree.. Without music, I wouldn't be where I am now.. My life used to be forty pounds heavier than what it is now, literally.. Thanks to "the art of ordering sounds or tones into different relations to produce a composition that has unity, rhythm, harmony, melody and continuity" I came down from obesity and a sad life.. I used to hurt myself intentionally in an attempt to feel better.. But enough of the somber side of me..
Gosh.! The saxophone.. My favorite musical instrument.. I think it's the sexiest instrument in the world, haha.. I love the way it sounds.. I wouldn't say I'm obsessed with it but I am very fond of it.! My school is based on drama and music: plays and band/orchestra are the heart of my high school.. At every show, the instruments are shined to a point to where I can only stare at them in awe under the glinting stage lights.. The saxophone trio is ahh-mazing.!
I love drumline.! NOT the hard work that I hear it is to have to practice in intense weather for hours at a time but the way it works though, if that makes any sense.. It's so coordinated and I'm so clumsy that I find it absolutely fascinating.. Who knew that coordinated strikes on a drum at different moments in time could produce a song.? I spend every Autumn sitting on my window sill, listening to the dumline and marching band practice at school three blocks away until it grows dark outside.. I've always wanted to play the quads.. They're my favorite percussion..
And the magnificient piano.? *sigh* I've ALWAYS loved that thing.. I grew up on Beethoven's "Für Elise" piano solo.. As I grew, I made sure I downloaded it as a ringtone on whatever cell phone I had.. Now in my German class, I make sure that my entire class gets to hear it play at least once each school year while we work.. Obsessive much.? Lolz.. Maybe..
So yeah, basically all I'm saying is that music is my life.. It's my mind, my world, my counselor, my vacation.. Everything from Pop to Blues to Alternative to RnB to Rock to Electronica to Jazz to Oldies and Soundtrack can be found in my media library.. Fall Out Boy, Lady Gaga, Chris Brown, Flyleaf, Hinder, Lil Wayne, Prince, My Chemical Romance, Seether, Pussycat Dolls, Maxwell, Green Day, 3OH!3, 30 Seconds to Mars, Alicia Keys, Amy Winehouse, Coldplay, Eminem, N.E.R.D., Panic! at the Disco, Owl City....gosh, it's impossible to limit me to just one genre.!
